Best Of Kaskade

In honor of his upcoming Freaks of Nature Tour, we decided to honor Kaskade (Ryan Raddon) in our latest “Best Of” feature.

His finely cultivated musical talents were developed in a dorm room in Utah and quickly expanded with him playing virtually everywhere.

He has been voted the #1 DJ in America by DJ Times and Pioneer DJ. He has also been unofficially voted “most handsome” DJ by screaming female fans worldwide.

His residencies at both Encore Beach Club and Marquee in Las Vegas have made him an even more in-demand property. There isn’t enough time in the day to feature all of his best tracks so here are our favorites. Sound off in the comment section with yours!

#7 “I Remember”

Kaskade and Deadmau5 collaborated on “I Remember” and produced one of the most romantically sad sounding tracks I have ever heard. Almost an ode to longing and unrequited love.

“I Remember” is so subtle that you scarcely realize that you are being taken on a long meandering journey with Haley Gibby’s haunting vocals leading the way.

#6 “Eyes”

“Eyes” has been the big hit off of Kaskade’s Fire and Ice album.

If you haven’t heard it in the club or played constantly on XM Radio then you have been missing out on a beautifully crafted track.

Mindy Gledhill’s vocals are soft and melodic to the point of being almost hypnotic. Kaskade once again shows us why he’s one of the top DJs in the world with his almost symphonic production that builds to a bonafide dance hit.

#5 “Turn It Down”

“Turn It Down” is one of my personal Kaskade favorites.

This track’s vocals provided by Fiona and Rebecca are whispered and breathy and create a sensual counterpoint for warped bass-lines and great drops at around the 2:15 and 5:10 marks. Turn it UP!

#4 “Angel On My Shoulder”

Kaskade is undeniably the master of creating gorgeous sounding panty-dropping music and this track is a perfect example of this talent. “Angel On My Shoulder” makes you feel both sexy and dirty at the same time.

If you’ve ever heard this song played at a rave or festival you know exactly what that feeling looks like coming to life in a crowd of half naked girls.

#3 “Dynasty”

“Dynasty” shows Kaskade trying something a little harder but still staying within his zone of making dance music with beautifully overlaid vocals.

While I love the original as is, if you want to check out the Dada Life remix of this track you will not be disappointed. The remix is a more electro take on the fantastic original.

#2 “Move For Me”

Kaskade and Deadmau5 are obviously a match made in heaven. They are amazing on their own, but magic happens when the two come together in “Move For Me”.

Haley Gibby lends her vocals to another club hit that makes you want to get naked and dance…and not necessarily in that order.

#1 “4 AM”

I don’t think I can say it any better than “choklatstallion93″ on YouTube:

“This song makes me want to swing a baby panda around by the arms, in the rain, in slow-motion.”

That pretty much covers this lullaby for stressed out adults.

Obviously Kaskade has a wealth of talent still yet to be uncovered and with his constant pushing of the boundaries that are sometimes found in EDM, there is plenty more to come from this wildly talented musician.

If you want to catch Kaskade in all of his riot-inducing glory you can check him out in his Freaks of Nature Tour which kicks off this June and will be hitting up 70+ cities.
