Shawnee Taylor grew up with successful musicians as parents, so it’s not terribly surprising that she would find herself drawn to the music world. What has been the main goal for Taylor, is finding her own path to create her own unique sound.
In 2001, Erick Morillo signed Taylor as his first solo artist and their working relationship grew from there. “Colors” is the new track off of Subliminal records by Shawnee Taylor and SYMPHO NYMPHO, made up of Erick Morillo, Harry Romero, and Jose Nunez. Add in Taylor’s vocals to this mix of producers and what you are left with is one HOT track.
The vocals are powerful and have a really soulful feeling. The melody is catchy and fits in perfect for a sweltering summer pool party. The only things I’m missing while listening to this track is a frozen margarita and a bikini.
